When we announced our transition from IACT to Aim, we talked a lot about finding new and innovative ways to communicate with you. Now, we’ve launched our latest communications adventure — the Aim Hometown Innovations Podcast! This new digital audio format will feature interviews with municipal leaders, state executives, lawmakers, Aim staff and many other experts in government.

In the first episode of the Aim Hometown Innovations Podcast, we sit down with Bedford Mayor Shawna Girgis and Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer to learn about their communities’ newest projects. In Bedford, the city is constructing a new community garden. The project will transform a vacant lot into a space for plants and a walking trail. The garden also will serve as a way for community members to learn about healthy living. In Warsaw, the city transformed a downtown alley to host various events and offer outdoor seating. The alley also is near a plaza where the city hosts First Fridays and a farmers market.
