Smart Meter Technology for Municipal Water and Electric Utilities

This workshop provides municipal utility officials with a road map to implement a successful smart meter program, from procurement to roll out to regulatory and privacy issues. The speakers will also be addressing the intricacies of recent litigation concerning smart meters and steps municipal utilities can take to minimize Constitutional pitfalls that might violate customers’ 4th Amendment, rights.
