Small Communities
This workshop will focus on the discussion of how the City of Bloomington has spent the past 20 years planning and executing the redevelopment of a former switchyard and three mile rail line into a community center piece. The panel will also address how it was done, challenges faced, partnerships formed, and the 20 year vision of the project. This case study can be applied to many development challenges faced by communities across Indiana.
