Aim Hometown Innovations Podcast: Episode 2

by Aim Admin | Sep 28, 2017 | Legislators, Media, Members

When we announced our transition from IACT to Aim, we talked a lot about finding new and innovative ways to communicate with you. Now, we’ve launched our latest communications adventure — the Aim Hometown Innovations Podcast! This new digital audio format will feature interviews with municipal leaders, state executives, lawmakers, Aim staff and many other experts in government.

In this episode, we sit down with Nappanee Mayor Phil Jenkins and Zionsville Mayor Tim Haak to learn about their newest projects. In Nappanee, the city has hired a director of community outreach to build a new website to better inform residents and visitors about happenings in the city. In Zionsville, town leaders just moved into a new Town Hall and are focusing on infrastructure improvements, including the construction of a new roundabout in a busy part of town. The town also recently celebrated an innovative quality-of-life project – sidewalk poetry.
