Webinars
Educating and informing our members is at the heart of our mission. That’s why Aim hosts webinars on relevant municipal topics such as current legislative issues and cybersecurity. Each of these webinars is designed to keep you up to date on the subject matter and give you takeaways that you can apply in your municipality.
Mobile Integrated Health: Transforming Community Healthcare
Wednesday, July 16, 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Eastern
Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) is changing the way cities and towns can approach public health, emergency response, and social services. This webinar will highlight how Indiana municipalities are implementing MIH programs to connect residents with preventative care, behavioral health services, and follow-up support outside of emergency rooms. Learn from local leaders and healthcare partners about their successes, challenges, and best practices in launching MIH initiatives. Whether you’re in the early stages of planning or looking to enhance existing efforts, this session will offer actionable insights for building a collaborative, community-based health response model.
Creative Municipal Revenue Sources
Tuesday, September 9, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Eastern
With the long-term impacts of SEA 1, including reduced residential and business personal property tax revenue, cities and towns need to explore alternative revenue sources. This webinar will explore practical and creative ideas to generate additional revenue at the local level. Presenters will walk through existing tools and highlight alternative sources such as event fees, cemetery lot pricing, and increased trash rates to help offset revenue losses and continue delivering essential services.
