City Controller, City of Elkhart

The City Controller serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Elkhart, overseeing all financial operations for the City and its water and wastewater utility. This role ensures the City’s fiscal health, transparency, and compliance with the requirements of the Indiana State Board of Accounts and the Department of Local Government Finance. Position is an authorized signer for designated financial documents. The Controller provides strategic financial leadership, manages internal controls, and coordinates budgeting and planning across departments. As head of the Controller’s Department and a member of the Mayor’s executive team, the Controller promotes efficiency and informed decision-making, while also serving on the Lerner Theater Governing Board and the Police Pension Board.

Director of Finance, Hussey Mayfield Memorial Library, Town of Whitestown 

The Financial Director will provide financial leadership to the library by directing and managing the financial, accounting, budget, grants, gifts, and special fund functions for the department, and ensuring efficient, accurate, and responsive operations. Services will include, but not be limited to, preparing and monitoring budgets, long and short-term fiscal planning, monitoring proper internal controls, submitting the Annual Financial Report on to Gateway, supervising the full-time bookkeeper, and oversight of system-wide fiscal management. The Director will be responsible for the facilities of both branches by directing the work of internal maintenance staff and external vendors to ensure the buildings are clean and welcoming for patrons, as well as safe and in good working condition. The Director will budget for preventative maintenance and make recommendations to the Executive Director and Board for capital improvements.

The Assistant Planning Director will perform a variety of professional planning duties supporting the functions of the Planning and Community Development Department. Director of Planning and Zoning, Town of Newburgh

The Director of Planning and Zoning will be tasked for administering the day-today operation of the planning, zoning, and building functions of the Town of Newburgh. This position is responsible for code enforcement, compliance of zoning ordinances, subdivision control ordinances, stormwater management ordinances, management of zoning maps and proper record management. The Director of Planning and Zoning will serve as the Building Commissioner for the Town of Newburgh and as Administrator of the Newburgh Plan Commission (NPC), Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA), Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) and the Storm Water Management Board (SWM). Civil Technician, City of Franklin

The City of Franklin is currently accepting applications for the position of Civil Technician. The individual will be responsible for all street cut permits and will assist with inspecting the construction associated with street cut permits.  The individual will also inspect development projects to ensure compliance with ordinances and technical specifications and providing support to City Departments, Boards, and Commissions. This position is typically 60% outside work and 40% office work.  Individual must be able to work in all weather conditions.  The individual will need to be physically able to climb ladders, walk long distances, and work in spaces that require physical exertion.  Must be knowledgeable in accepted engineering principles and practices and be able to communicate effectively with the public.

City Engineer, City of Greenwood

Greenwood is accepting applications for City Engineer. The position is responsible for planning, designing, and monitoring the City’s infrastructure, review, monitoring and inspection of construction plans and projects. Duties and responsibilities include assisting Sanitation, Stormwater and Street Departments with planning and implementation of infrastructure improvement projects, including evaluating needs, developing long-range plans, receiving and investigating public complaints, inspecting/surveying project sites, and reviewing/approving construction plans, service agreements, bonding and/or legal documents, such as for storm and sanitary drainage and acquisition of rights-of-way and easements. Prepares specifications and bid documents for annual Street Department maintenance contracts; reviewing and monitoring contracts with consultants for design, inspection and/or testing of propose/existing infrastructure projects. Supervises and/or conducts field review of contracted construction projects to ensure compliance with approved plans for subdivision improvements and site developments; and maintaining and updating subdivision bond files, reviews construction plans, and performs on-site inspections to ensure compliance with ordinances and engineering standards, including residential, commercial and industrial projects.
