Balanced Solutions Initiative
Aim recently hosted several Regional Conversations with a small group of municipal officials to discuss the real-world impacts of SEA 1 on local budgets, public safety, and essential services. The session brought together a focused group of elected and appointed leaders who shared firsthand how the law has created budget uncertainty, new administrative burdens, and unique challenges in their communities. During the meeting, Aim presented the Balanced Solutions Initiative, a set of technical fixes and modernization proposals aimed at preserving SEA 1’s policy goals while ensuring municipalities can continue providing vital services.
