Indiana Association of Regional Councils

To ensure that Aim members working in local government have the best resources, Aim works closely with the Indiana Association of Regional Councils (IARC). This statewide 501(c)(3) group is made up of 12 organizations that represent regional and metropolitan planning commissions and economic development districts.

IARC provides a variety of comprehensive planning services to local governments, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations, helping municipalities plan for economic and community development, housing, transportation, and other specialized services.

In addition, IARC serves as a highly valuable statewide forum for directors, staff, and board members from the best regional planning agencies in Indiana. Aim members can network and share experiences with IARC members about adequately planning for growth and other regional issues.

On the IARC site, you will find information about their annual conference, impact reports, projects, grants, membership info, and job openings. Learn more at: http://www.iarc.cc/.
