SB 1 – Property Tax Relief
The Indiana General Assembly is considering a major proposal to cut residential and personal property taxes and drastically alter tax liability calculations, threatening the ability of cities and towns to fund essential services. HB 1402
Although HB 1402 died in the first half of session, it is likely that language from the bill will come back in another bill as the discussions of property taxes continue.
