Since 2010, the Town of North Liberty has done a remarkable job of leveraging state and federal grant money to make an investment in the town of more than $10 million in infrastructure improvements, with nearly $9 million of this investment was obtained from grant opportunities or SRF loan funds. This type of investment in a Town of under 2,000 people has been a critical component to population growth and increased private business investment. This workshop will describe how the Town focused and worked together as a team of public officials, and private citizens to build coalition that has truly made North Liberty a Stellar Community and transform their quality of place.
