Indiana Municipal Personnel Administrators for Cities and Towns
A prime resource for Aim members who handle human resources at the local government level, Indiana Municipal Personnel Administrators for Cities and Towns (IMPACT) was developed to provide a network for municipal human resources professionals from across the state to:
- Foster professional development through training and networking
- Better define the role of human resources in municipal government
- Stimulate and encourage interaction among human resources professionals to share information and provide expertise to one another and to other municipal officials
- Share resources through personal interaction and the creation of a personnel management resources bank
- Promote the profession of local government human resources management
IMPACT holds an annual conference that offers networking opportunities and presentations designed to teach and grow human resources professionals. Topics can range from employee benefits cost and workplace discrimination to overtime exemptions and emerging trends.
